Having started in December 2022, Corteva’s agronomic team has been sourcing EOS Data Analytics information on satellite monitoring of fields, which enabled timely detection of diseases and pests, determination of the required amount of application of protection agents and plant nutrition, as well as effective control of production processes. The introduced innovations comply with the principles of sustainable production and consumption, reducing the impact of climate change and preserving biodiversity.
Corteva pays a lot of attention to process optimization through digital transformation and implementation of precision tech in research and production to satisfy our customers, helping them to work efficiently and use existing resources. In Ukraine, this is especially important during the war, when the difficult economic situation in the country requires farmers to focus on maximizing income from the available scope of work. Corteva Agriscience is one of the few large producers of seeds and plant protection products that does not support aggressors, having ceased operations in the markets of Russia and Belarus. We exclusively assist Ukrainian farmers and continue to do everything in our power to help agricultural producers optimize cultivation technologies, increase production, and contribute to the overall preservation of local, as well as global food security.
EOS Data Analytics is pleased to cooperate with Corteva Agriscience in Ukraine. We have joined our efforts to provide valuable information to Ukrainian farmers to make better decisions for their businesses and for the preservation of life on our planet. Our vision is to make space technologies a global driver of sustainable development on Earth. We believe that precision agritech, in addition to the implementation of sustainable development goals into the production processes, will allow farmers to optimize crop production, increase productivity and profitability.
