EOSDA's Crop Monitoring solution is currently the most complete source of pre-processed data for monitoring agricultural crops and a reference in the field of Digital Agriculture.

Here at the Federal University of the San Francisco Valley (UNIVASF) we've experimented with some smart features of the platform and now we want to dig deeper into it.

EOSDA LandViewer is a smart tool for monitoring crops and calculating vegetation indices based on high-resolution satellite imagery. What I like is that it allows you to compare images using a slider to figure out spatiotemporal
changes.

It's a highly practical tool for monitoring crops, water bodies (rivers, lakes), forested areas and other types of landcover.

I want to use EOSDA LnadViewer to monitor the crops within my study area to support my PhD thesis based on Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery. It's neat that with this tool you can download the changes within your interest area as maps with high resolution and then integrate them into other GIS applications. I hope to make a good use of it for my PhD.

I am very comfortable using the EOSDA LandViewer tool, it really suits my needs. It's easy-to-understand and contains a large amount of information. I also liked the courses they launched to continue learning about the platform.

We continue to focus on research, especially since we will present in Paraguay at the Congress of Water, Environment and Energy. A very particular case is the change in land use and thanks to the fact that the platform has images from 1984, it was possible to observe such changes as clearing in a mountainous region.

I hope to be able to continue using the tools that they have given me. I feel a very good connection with the platform, I like it more and more as I go along and I can spend hours analyzing the images and trying to find new ways of observing.

Personally, I think EOSDA LandViewer is a great tool when it comes to visualizing change detection. You can switch between multiple data sources, saving yourself a ton of time.

I used it for my research papers on the automatic forest cover change detection based on Sentinel-1 and -2 data. Basically, the tool helped me with quickly finding the right area of interest that would provide enough data (radar and optical alike) for my research. Highly recommend!
