EOSDA At The Guanajuato Agri-Food Expo 2025

They say the future of agriculture is written in the soil. But if you ask us, and the hundreds of innovators who gathered in Irapuato, Mexico, last week, it’s actually being written in space.

From November 11 to 14, 2025, Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato turned the city into the beating heart of Latin American agribusiness. And this is the second year in a row that EOS Data Analytics has been right there with its top-notch EOSDA Crop Monitoring platform and a set of other advanced agro solutions. The previous year at Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato, we established our role in the global sattech development, forged strategic alliances, and discovered the latest trends in agricultural production.

And this year we performed even more. Represented by Sebastian Soto, our Sales Executive for Latin America and Brazil, we participated at our best, we discussed, and we listened. In front of more than 126000 visitors and 650 international exhibiting companies at Expo AgroAlimentaria, we had a chance to illustrate the idea that the gap between high-tech satellite data and the manual hardworking farmers in the field is finally closing.

A powerful closing message from Sebastian Soto on resilience of Mexican farmers and EOSDA supporting producers, from the furrow to the plate.

Breaking the “Trust Gap” with AgriBest

Let’s be honest – for a traditional farmer, “AI-powered satellite analytics” can sound like science fiction. Or worse, it can sound like just another complication. That is why our presence was so important.

The EOSDA and AgriBest united at Booth 847 at the Guanajuato Expo 2025 to bring precision agriculture to local growers.

And what’s more important, we weren’t alone. While EOSDA brings the view from orbit inside EOSDA Crop Monitoring, our strategic partners, AgriBest, helped us with their agronomic expertise on the ground. They are the ones who know the soil, the seasons, and the struggles of the local growers:

  • Precise but easy-to-use crop analysis for better yield predictions
  • Advanced agro analytics and proactive risk management
  • Carbon compliance strategies for EU-bound agricultural products

Today, we spoke with many people about satellite technology and how this data helps them make better decisions and prevent production losses. So if you want to boost your cross potential and increase productivity, visit us, we have solutions for you!

The Three Big Conversations

Within these four days of Expo, we had various opinions on satellite agro analytics from the “wow effect factor” to “vital tool for everyday use”. Three major themes kept coming up:

  1. “My Yields Are Too Unpredictable”In an era where climate patterns are shifting wildly, historical intuition doesn’t work anymore. We performed live demos showing growers how to move from reactive to proactive. By using precise crop analysis, we showed them how to spot health issues in the vegetation weeks before the naked eye could see them, preventing losses before they became irreversible.
  2. The “Carbon Passport” to EuropeThis was a hot topic. With more Mexican producers eyeing the European Union for export, strict environmental standards are becoming the new challenge. We introduced our sustainable supply chain analytics as a sort of “digital passport.” We showed producers how to measure and manage their carbon impact, ensuring they don’t just grow great food, but compliant food that can actually enter the EU market.
  3. Trust for InsurersFarming is a risky business, and nobody knows that better than insurers. We spent a lot of time showing them how satellite archives can serve as a time machine, providing records of what happened on the ground. This data can serve as a “source of truth,” and helps to speed up claim verifications and cut down on disputes, which ultimately brings a little more stability to the financial side of farming.

Wrapping up conversations with visitors, we can confirm that the initial curiosity that we saw on Day 1 had transformed into serious inquiries about integration and support. Of course, we would like to send a massive thank to AgriBest for the warm welcome to Mexico and the possibility to feel great being part of this agricultural revolution.

EOSDA Moving Forward

If there is one major takeaway from this week, it is that Latin American agriculture is on the move. The energy we felt from growers in Mexico and Brazil was undeniable. They are inspired and ready to put satellite data to work.

For us, this experience was invaluable. We’re coming home with notebooks full of ideas and a roster of new partners who will help us sharpen our products, making our carbon management and sustainable farming tools better for everyone.
